Had a great opportunity to catch Hank Jone's 85th birthday celebration at the Blue Note.  He has wonderful things to say about Ella Fitzgerald, confirming the inspiration behind my tribute show "Ella, The Song is You" and offered encouragement for my tributes to her spirit and enthusiasm.

 The week of celebration to Hank was filled with jazz greats like Jerry Bruno. (below)
